Goal and scope of the summary: 
The goal of this study is to inform professionals and researchers on the environmental performance of tall buildings, with a scope that includes the most common structural systems of the tall buidlings, namely reinforced concrete, steel and composite structural alternatives.

It is not possible to say in abstracto wether a concrete or a steel structure is more sustainable in the case of a tall buidling. It is possible to say though, that on average using concrete will have a higher impact on global warming whereas using steel will have a higher embodied energy.
